Jenni Webber & Chip – Level 4
From Jenni – Chip is my Korthals Griffon and my partner in crime! We’ve been competing in agility for a few years, and last year we decided to give scentwork a go. Turns out he has quite the nose on him!
What started as something to keep us both occupied while I was injured has turned into another obsession! We’re now competing in Nosework Games and have just started NNA.
Chip loves having a job to do, although I’m fairly sure he thinks all these competitions are just an elaborate way of earning treats!
Chris Bennett & Santi Level 4
From Chris – Santi is a Many Tears rescue that I had at 14 weeks old. She has competed at Obedience, Rally (level5), Heelwork to Music, displays for Good Citizens at crufts as well as being brilliant at Scentwork. She is now 13 and a bit arthritic, noise reactive and has selective deafness! She lives with her new brother Kai and lots of rabbits. I am so proud of her as she doesn’t get to do much as I am usually running the games.
Rebecca Grant & Marvel – Level 4
Marvel is a rescue hound from the streets of Cyprus. I chose him 7 years ago and he has been doing scentwork for 6 years to make good use of his Beagle nose! Marvel also competes in Scentwork UK Tier 3 and National Nosework Association Enhanced, and the skills we have developed in Nosework Games, particularly my line handling and his systematic searching, have helped us progress across the various organisations. Marvel is happiest when searching and can often be heard baying before he starts!
